After talking to many of my old classmates at Baldor, I am one of the very few who remembers 'la enfermeria.' Every year, through elementary, we were given our vaccinations. I still carry the mark, on my right leg, of one 'que prendio,' (took effect? had a reaction?). Either way... year after year I tried to hide, but was ALWAYS found and taken (almost by force) to 'la enfermeria' to get vaccinated. Those were the days my friends, those were the days. We thought they'd never end!
